Patient in the lab: Down-scaling patient-derived organoid screening for diagnostic purposes
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a leading cause of cancer and related death. Patient-derived organoids (PDOs) provide a promising preclinical model for predicting patient response in the clinic. HUB Organoid Technology has shown success in preclinical drug screening, but a shorter turnaround time is necessary for direct patient benefit. Yamaha Motor's YAMAHA CELL HANDLER™ has been optimized and validated for the automated placement of organoids with high accuracy.
